Over 40% of Romania’s population is exposed to poverty and social exclusion. There is also a large gap in living and social standards between rural and urban areas. Moreover, children from marginalised communities such as Roma often face discrimination. To prevent violations of children’s rights and better assist child victims, we strengthen the child protection system and improve opportunities for underprivileged children and their families. We are specialised in community integrated services, child and youth participation, social inclusion, and psychosocial support.
